THE HISTORY OF EMOTIVA

The adventure that was the formation of EMOTIVA, begins in 1995, with the meeting of a musical dream between Stringari Morris and Trevisan Alberto, friends since childhood. In August, of 1996, after the purchase of his first drum kit, Alberto asks Morris to form the much desired band, but, without the required musical instruments, the latter, delays the formation for some months. During this time the two played in two different bands.

Morris, in the meantime, is able to find an electric guitar.

After the brief interlude as a lyrical guitarist with the "Darkside of the Mind", Morris decides to start all over again, asking Moro Detto Rocco Fabio to form a new band.

At the same time Alberto, leaves "Syncope" to return to playing with Morris. In the meanwhile Alessandro Padoan joins the group.

It is the 14 of February, 1997. "EMOTIVA" is born, in that time called "Noisy Fear", with vocalist and lyrical guitarist Morris, with Trevisan Alberto on the drums, solo guitarist, Moro Detto Rocco Fabio, and Alessandro Padoan, on bass.

After various concerts (with participation on different occasions by other musicians Gianpaolo "Gioppo" and Alessandro Bevivino), Padoan leaves the band in December of 1998, even if he then later he returns to play with the group.

In his place, would be Marco Marchesan, that enters into the group in March 1999.

After almost a year and a few live shows (one particualar occasion where Marina Fontanel sang), in February 2000, even Marco leaves the band. The group, then, remains, again, without a component. To fill the void left by this member, the thought put to it by Vio Riccardo that enters into the group in February 2001.

At this time of inactivity, between 2000 and 2001, Morris begins to reorganize music and texts left aside until that time and to write new songs for the album that band had just recently decided to record.

A new adventure begins for all the members, above all for Alberto and Morris, that find themselves for the most part with their free time dedicated to the creation of the work at hand. In the meantime, Riccardo, succeeds in learning his parts quickly and gives a not insignificant boost to the project.

In the winter of 2002, the band decides to call itself, "EMOTIVA" that replaces definitavely the temporary title that was in place up until that time. In the meantime the group succeeds in building a new practice studio in an ex-elementary school, today called "Microcosmo", situated in a small town near Caorle, Ca' Corniani.

In December 2002, after a few concerts, the begin to record the new album. Each member records their part at different times, moving for brief periods of time to Udine, the city where the better part of the recordings in this area are done.

Some friends participated in the project, and in one song in particular "Cosa Voglio", Teddy Bucciol, on the sax, Alessandro Bazzan "Bonz" at the scratch, and Alen Pignat, playing the clarinet. Alot of the parts of the cd were recorded at the same practice studio, at the conservatory of Udine, at the Musile di Piave, and at Caorle, at the home of Morris.

This work demanded alot of of dedication, and for that reason, the time to fruition was quite long, seeing as, also, that the enabling of the group and for each member, in so far as the project has entirely been self produced.

During the work on the CD, in May of 2005, Moro Detto Rocco Fabio decided to leave the band. From him, remained, some short pieces recorded and inserted, thereafter on the record, even though at the time, they were left unfinished. "EMOTIVA" from this point would be Morris, Alberto, and Riccardo.

During the summer of 2005, they would participate in various concerts, and in the playing of those shows there would be brief additions to the group by Davide Carrer, Alice Nardo, Simone Bianco, Marco Battiston, Marco Boem, ex-bassist Marco Marchesan and Danilo Banchero.

In December 2005 the registrations are complete and all the works are coallated.

In 2006 the year of copy for this text, finally, is released, "GXG".

Actually, "EMOTIVA" story continues...
