I began to listen to music very early in my life, I'm not sure exactly at what age, but I think I was about 2 or 3 years old.
At home, there were many vinyl albums of various genres, and I had a stereo cassette deck that I could use to record myself, while I sang the songs that I liked.
I enjoyed myself quite a bit, and I passed entire afternoons away in this way. The first Walkman had come on the market just a few years before and I owned one... Everywhere I went I had the earphones attached to my ears.
And so, I listened to music continuously, in whichever moment, in whatever place.
My passion, at any rate, grew quickly, even more so at the age of six, when I was asked to sing in a Mini-Festival for children (an event organized by the Parish of Saint Margherita in Caorle, in the province of Venice Italy; with the aim of collecting funds to provide for the construction of the new local Church).
I remember my first voice teachers: Marzia Dorigo, Mary Saltarel, Ilenia Viotto, Lara Mior, Elisa Morbiolo, Martina Carnio (since 2001 my teacher is Cristina Mantese, at Udine's Conservatory). In the meantime, for a period, I found myself singing in the Church Choir. I was the youngest, and the only boy: "blessed" among women.
At 8 years of age I began to have my first experiences with a musical instrument, signing myself up for a course in classical music. At the same time I continued to participate in the Mini-Festivals and other related events.
At times it happened that I had a chance to sing with "MARY E I MARINES" (Madonnina Del Mare), a orchestra from Caorle that played frequently in that time period.
Later, at 13 years of age, I was gifted new instruments, among which there was a keyboard and a new stereo, with which I succeed in recording my first musical tracks and my first sound-overs.
My true joy was to take popular songs, and change them, making variations on the music or the lyrics to parody them and render the songs absurd and indecent.
I remember FABIO TRETTENE (Sonata) a great musician-friend, that taught me the basics of playing music and understand the keyboard.
If many were the hours that I spent with my instruments, infinte they became when I was given my first PC. Armed with a audio digital card (an object of true value in that era), I could allow myself to register the base musical tracks in the computer itself, and to transform them for my own pleasure.
Inviting various friends to my home to embark on different melodic experimentation, I realized that it was not only something that was personal, but also a passion that I could share with many of them.
I discovered a company of young men that were connected through the same passion. Some were already friends of mine from childhood, therefore, really we already knew one another, but it became for me a re-discovery of each one individual.
Music became at this point the meaning of each dayMy knowledge, of this main meaning and of the argument of music grew and I understood immediately the import that each genre of music wished to impart. For this reason, the music that I actually write and play is not of one type or genre that is strictly defined.
At 15 years of age the desire to play became so strong, that I decided to form a band with a friend, Alberto. That band today is called "EMOTIVA", synonym EMOTION.
In the end, Music, my opinion, is the key, of expression that opens the door, to every single sentiment like no other art succeeds in doing.
