When the days became too boring, empty and devoid of sense and satisfaction... and when life begins to seem to you a great sickness and a huge delusion without end, the only way to escape from this confused reality, was, for me, music. That full of anger, rebellion, aggression, but with great significance and messages on the corrupt world in which we young people must construct our future.

That type of music, that others considered bothersome, noise, the music of the devil, without going beyond the loud sound of a song , without listening to what is behind the words, without finding that meaning that is hidden therein.

The first group I listened to was U2, and then Guns N' Roses, having then been pulled to other genres of music like heavy metal, death metal, trash metal... I started listening to Metallica, Sepultura, Pantera, Morbid Angel, Extrema, and then Slipknot.

I liked to pretend to play an instrument even if I knew nothing about music. At 10 years old, I began to go out with a group of young people in which almost everyone played a musical instrument.

I liked the drums, but I could not buy them because I did not have a place to put them and so decided to buy myself a guitar and to learn to play it by myself.

Me and the boys would get together all the time, exchange music from books or songs we had invented.

I did not play in any group, but I had the fortune , at 16 years of age, to have three of my friends invite me to play the Bass in their band, that at that time was called "Noisy Fear" .

Even if the Bass was not my instrument, I learned it right away and quickly, because the desire to play in a band was great. Before playing with them I went to all of their concerts and I cheered for them.

A few years later I started going out with a whole different group of people and I distanced myself a bit from music.

Then, I changed my group of friends again, and I began to listen to Bob Marley, going out on the beach and playing acoustic songs... and to sing around the fire. This music transmits a particular kind of emotion. Different from METAL and I began to gain an appreciation for other types of music, that before that, I did not like.

From that point, after not too long I played my first concert. I was tense, nervous, and I drank about 3 l of beer without even feeling it and on the stage I was very calm! We began to work on our first cd, and not too long thereafter, with a new name-EMOTIVA.

Three boys with the music that courses through the veins, took off on a road unknown, and well lit only by a strong desire to make music, to transform a great passion into a profound message towards you all.
